Ángel de la Guarda is possible because a brave girl from Barcelona chose to get involved in her own destiny.
With only 14 years old, Ana Salvador had an accident which prevented her from walking for some months.
As a result she drew her attention to shoes, which changed from being only something to buy to something to care about deeply. One day she started creating an ideal shoe in her mind, a caress both on the inside and on the outside.
Nowadays she works in her Maresme workshop with her partner, where they handcraft shoes to step with conviction and enjoying every step.
